Whale Day Celebration The Maui Whale Festival Maui Whale Festival, February 2009

Pacific Whale Foundation wraps up yet another Maui Whale Festival. This year's events were very successful, drawing record-breaking crowds and raising funds to support marine education programs for Maui schoolchildren. Thank You to all who made the 2009 Maui Whale Festival possible.

Maui Whale Festival is an "umbrella" name for a series of fun-filled whale-themed events hosted on Maui by the nonprofit Pacific Whale Foundation during the month of February. Most events are free or of low cost and open to the public. They draw together visitors and Maui residents of all ages, and offer opportunities to enjoy live music and local culture, learning about whales and the environment, children's activities and of course, fun!
